Xtra Guns and Ammo will facilitate the transfer of firearms from other Federal Firearms License holders (FFL’s) to our customers. Use this process when you purchase a firearm from an out-of-state dealer. We ask that you follow these procedures to make the transfer as smooth as possible.

1. 1. Have the transferring FFL send an email to greg@xtraguns.com and include the following information:
      • • FFL SELLER/SENDER INFORMATION:
          • Business name
          • Contact name
          • Phone number
          • eMail address
          • Signed copy of the selling dealer's Federal Firearms License (FFL).

       

      • • RECIPIENT CONTACT INFORMATION:
          • Your name
          • Phone number
          • eMail address

       

      • FIREARM DETAILS:
        • Manufacturer
        • Model number
        • Serial number

 

1. 1. Upon receipt of the request, we will promptly respond to the sending dealer and exchange the required information to initiate the shipment and transfer.

 

1. 1. Make sure you get shipping information and tracking number from the selling dealer, Xtra Guns & Ammo can accept no responsibility for tracking shipments, nor damage in transit.

 

1. 1. We will contact you when the firearm is ready to be delivered to you.

 

1. 1. You will be required to complete an ATF Form 4473. You must also provide state-issued identification showing your current address at the time you complete the Form 4473. Xtra Guns and Ammo charges a $35.00 fee per firearm to conduct the transfer.

 

1. Upon successful completion of the background check and payment of transfer fees, the firearm will be transferred to you.
